What website storage means
Cookies are small browser records used to maintain a session or remember a choice. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels and information requested by an embedded service. Some are essential to provide a function you ask for. Non-essential measurement or advertising technology needs a separate choice where UK law requires it.
Essential session cookie
This website uses lpr_session, a first-party PHP session cookie. It keeps a secure session for forms, anti-forgery checks and administrator sign-in. The cookie holds a random identifier, not your password, report or payment card. Its related session data is kept on our server. It is HTTP-only, sent securely on our HTTPS site and uses SameSite Lax. The browser-session cookie may end when the browser closes; the server can also expire the related session. Blocking it can stop forms or sign-in from working.
Your choice in browser storage
We save lpr-consent in your browser's local storage to remember whether you selected Essential only, Analytics only or Accept all. This value is a preference, not a customer profile. It remains until you change it through Cookie settings in the footer or remove site data in your browser. Session storage may also remember that an allowed measurement event was already counted during the current browser tab session, to avoid duplicate counting.
Optional Google measurement
The website is built to load a configured Google Tag Manager container only after you choose Analytics only or Accept all. The default is denied. Analytics only allows analytics storage; Accept all additionally grants the advertising measurement categories shown in the consent control. If no container ID has been configured, selecting these options does not by itself load a Google tag. We will review this policy when a measurement service is activated or changed. Choosing Essential only does not prevent you from browsing, requesting a quote or booking.
Stripe and other websites
If you choose card payment, you leave this site for Stripe's hosted checkout. Stripe may use its own cookies or similar tools on its domains for payment operation, fraud prevention and authentication. Stripe's privacy information governs those technologies. Links to other websites open those providers' services, where their own cookie choices apply. We do not control cookies they place on their own websites.
Change or remove your choice
Use the Cookie settings button in our footer to reopen the choice panel. You can also delete or block site data in your browser's privacy settings. Blocking all cookies can stop secure forms or sign-in; restricting Stripe technologies can interfere with card checkout. Removing a cookie or local preference does not erase an order, invoice or report held in our service records—see the privacy policy for those records.
