Which document should I request?
An EPC describes modelled building energy performance. A DEC uses measured energy consumption for qualifying public buildings. A gas safety record documents an appliance and flue check. An EICR reports on the fixed electrical installation. SBEM is a non-domestic calculation method.
Can an existing EPC be reused?
Search the official register. A valid certificate for the property may remove the need for another assessment.
Is an online price always available?
Some standard jobs have a published price. Complex work is quoted after we review your property details, so you know the amount before confirming.
What happens if an inspection finds defects?
The report records the findings and required action. Remedial work is discussed and agreed separately.
